CBSE Syllabus

CBSE Syllabus contains the list of topics and subtopics to be covered in the course of study during an academic year. Syllabus for CBSE includes a summary and list of chapters to be studied during the teaching and learning process in a particular class. CBSE Reduced Syllabus 2020-21

The Central Board of Secondary Education has reduced the syllabus for class 9 to 12 for the academic session 2020-21. The board has reduced the syllabus by 30% for all the major subjects retaining the core concepts. The CBSE Reduced Syllabus 2020-21 have been finalised by the respective Course Committees with the approval of the Curriculum Committee and Governing Body of the Board. The CBSE revised curriculum will help students to lessen the burden of studies during the pandemic situation of COVID-19. The new CBSE Syllabus 2020-21 will allow students to focus on less topics and helps them to cover the syllabus faster when the schools resume again. CBSE Curriculum/Syllabus for All Classes – 1 to 12

The CBSE curriculum is based on the National Curriculum Framework 2005 and provides opportunities for students to achieve excellence in learning. The curriculum refers to the chapters and academic content which is taught to students in the school. Basically, it is a planned set of education that includes course of study, subject wise content, pedagogical practices, and assessment guidelines. Also, it includes the marking scheme and syllabus for practical exams.

Objective of the CBSE Curriculum

CBSE Syllabus for Class 1 to 12

CBSE Class 12 Syllabus

CBSE Class 5 Syllabus

CBSE Class 4 Syllabus

CBSE Class 3 Syllabus

At this class, students are eligible to read and write. So, they are being taught with some of the basic topics like playing with patterns, rupees and coins, smart charts in maths subjects. Similarly, other subjects are also designed to help them comprehend the things that they learned. The subjects like English and Hindi are there to develop the required language skills in them.

CBSE Class 2 Syllabus

The primary focus of CBSE class 2 syllabus is to explore the inner talent of the students and make them creative. The students are being taught with stories and poetry. CBSE Class 1 Syllabus
